 After the response to Foley’s set in November, we knew we had to bring him back, this time headlining Friction 004.
Foley developed a love for house music early on and became known for his long vinyl sets and creative mixing during his Saturday night residency. With 20 years of experience DJing across the UK, he knows what works on the dancefloor. Influenced by Manchester and Liverpool’s club scene, Foley’s sets blend underground and Chicago house. His production career took off when his track ‘Take Me There’ was released by Toolroom Records, marking him as an artist to watch in 2023. His tracks have gained airplay on BBC Radio 1 and Kiss FM, and he has received support from industry heavyweights like Joseph Capriati, Nic Fanciulli, and more.
Matty Robbo is a DJ and producer from Burnley, Lancashire, known for his dynamic sets that blend vocal house, oldskool, and tech influences. He is active in the UK dance scene, playing at events like Slip Back In Time and co-owning Rework Events. Matty has performed at major festivals, including Beat-Herder, where he’s a familiar face on the Fortress stage, and has taken his sound to venues like Es Paradis in Ibiza.
Ciaran Heaney is a DJ and producer from the North West, known for his unique blend of house, tech/minimal, and garage music that attracts diverse crowds to the dance floor. He began DJing during lockdown, and his passion has led to performances in top clubs in the region and in Portugal. Influenced by artists like Soul Mass Transit System and CASSIMM, his seamless transitions and track selection have earned him support slots for Judge Jules, Darius Syrossian, and other established artists.
Also joining us, we have Joe Allen, Oli Bennett, Jacob Treasure and Oli Simm, all well-established names within the local scene who know how to throw a party.
Starting Friction, Ciaran looks to build a brand that supports local up and coming djs and put on a show that people are bound to fall in love with. After a very successful 2025, the Friction name is gaining traction quickly and this next event is not one to be missed.
